Sorry, I havent been around but I've been working.

Anyway. This morning I found out that a girl I went to school with was the girl who was crushed to death by a tanker on the bybass where I live. I mean how freaking crazy. I haven't thought about her in years and now she's dead. I don't even know what to think/say/feel. It just feels so surreal and yet at the same time I know i should value life and what it throws at me.

So here goes

Happy bloody birthday to me.

Caroline quit today.

Pete called me into his office wanting to know if I was happy and if I too would now quit, then questioned me about my job role, Carolines role, Amy's role. I think he's trying to assess what to do next.

We're all a bit shell shocked, but I really don't blame her. This is the best thing for her.

Today, I also recieved my salary letter. I got a decentish bonus and a crap payrise. I'm happy about the bonus as it will go directly into my bank account and transfered to my Canada savings.

I don't feel guilty about leaving anymore.

So now we have a cat stalking the pigeon, who is stalking me.

I hate cats and I hate birds.

Also, I'm nearly in tears, I came home from the very violent football game and my computer is dead. It says something about missing or corrupt files. *sobs*. I've rung my brother and he's told me the step by step instructions to getting it fixed, but so far it's only at 55% completed.

Keep your fingers crossed for me. If I've lost anything I've been working on I will cry. And all my Greys, Supernatural, OC, Veronica Mars, American Idol, Grease Academy, Lost and less importantly ER and scrubs episodes are on there and I havent recently backed up my photographs, which sucks as I will have lost my sisters party ones and the ones from New Year.

euw! Luka and Abby should not be allowed together on my TV screen. Period. I had to close my eyes and I want to strangle Sam. Who wants to sign my petition to kill off Luka, Sam and Alex? come on - you know you want to.

Fabulous news, my acceptance pack into Work Canada arrived this morning!! woohoo! Such a relief. I spent most of this week wanting to quit and dispising everything that came out of Carolines mouth. She actually blamed for something she did in front of me and it was only a minor thing, so I didnt say anything - but it's got me wondering what else she's saying about me. I'm starting to think that she's taking full credit for all things good and blaming me when it goes wrong, which might not be the whole case, but it does tie in with what Steve and Sarah have both told me. I cant deal with work politics.

Roll on October! I think Im going to fly out at the beginning of the month, ready for the winter ski season. Though I still need to get a reference sorted out.

Hello all,

I have decided to make my journal completely friends only, which means if you havent posted to my journal and I dont post in yours then there is no point us being mutual friends here in LJ land and I will be cutting you shortly. This isn't because of any particular reason, just that life moves on and when it does so do people.
